Welcome to Mothers of Young Children!

One of the many ways we nourish and share our love with family and friends is by cooking & baking for them.  Christmastime affords many such opportunities, whether they be preparing a large meal for one’s extended family, baking cookies to share with neighbors and friends, or simply enjoying a cup of hot chocolate with your little ones .   

To celebrate the Advent season, MYC will be hosting a Cookie Exchange party at our December 20^th meeting.  Those able to attend should bring enough cookies to share at the party, send home with participants, and donate to Cookies For Troops. Please also provide enough copies of your recipe to share with everyone.  Specific cookie quantities are up to the baker - a good guideline might be to bake an amount within which you can enjoy the process.  No “cookie factories” please – enjoy yourself and the Season!

Please package the Cookies For Troops in a separate, nonreturnable container so that they may be delivered without damage.  Also, remember to bring some containers/bags to bring home the cookies others prepare for you.
